Randy Jennings (1963)

Posted For His Wife, Fionnuala Douglas, Daughter, Deirdre Douglas

Gerald Douglas was a wonderful husband and a brilliant father.  He was funny and loving and caring and poured his heart and soul into his life with his wife and daughter. They where his world and he was theirs. He was a rock to lean on. He was the dorkiest dad ever. And he never got to find out how lost ended. But he'd do anything for his family. And he is greatly and deeply missed.

I am very sorry to hear of Gerald's passing. I remember him well, especially his humor and honesty. I have thought of him over the years and wondered about his life and family etc.

I certainly hope others remeber him as I do---as a very nice guy with a great sense of humor.

I hope his family posts more information about his life after CMA.

Jerry and I were in the first graduating class at CMA in '63.  He was a good friend and a loyal cadet. It is obvious he had carried such loyalty forward through his support and love for his family over the years.  I am saddened over his passing but know his friends and family have many fond memories to sustain the love he had for them.  My thoughts and prayers are with you.

I was deeply saddened to hear that Jerry had passed away. I roomed one door away from and saw him quite often. He was always there to be of assistance and he was the type of person who you were honored to call a friend. Our loss is heaven's gain.
