GRANITE FALLS - Rodney Mackie Clarke, 63, of Granite Falls, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 23, 2010, at Camelot Manor. He was born Jan. 10, 1947, in Forsyth County, to the late Jack Roosevelt Clarke and Joyce Harold Clarke. Mr. Clarke was a member of First Baptist Church of Granite Falls. Survivors include three daughters, Candy Clarke and Ashley Clark and her husband, Ronnie, all of Granite Falls, and Jessica Clarke of Clemmons; a sister, Tamara Clarke of Granite Falls; and grandchildren, Bailey Smith and Dustin, Patrick and Nicholas Clark, all of Granite Falls, and Andrew, Mathew and Sophia Aponte of Clemmons. A memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. Friday, Feb. 26, 2010, at First Baptist Church of Granite Falls, with the Rev. Dr. Robert Evans Jr. officiating.
