john was a platoon sgt in c company in 1968,he had a way with inspiring younger cadets, played parade snare in marching band, i played tenor drum, he was very patient with me playing by ear, super cadet & so genuine, john, i can still play the drum cadence you taught me & when i went to camden military academy i taught it to the band & we used it in 1972- 1973, maybe they are still playing it today, i miss you & will always remember your laugh
