Condolences to the Cook family:

My name is Jim O'Leary I played fotball and basketball will Billy in 1969 at CMA. I had always wished I had seen him or at least talked to him since then we had so much fun. He was a wonderful  person.

Again I am truly very sorry for your loss.

A loss of a fun-loving good guy that saddens me. It looks as if Billy had a successful life and career cut short by a non-planned direction we must all take at one time or another. Billy was the type of guy you would think might be drawn toward law enforcement just because. Opposites attract. I remember one time he was outside B Barrick's smoking, saw the Coach coming toward us, asked Locklear to hold his smoke a minute, which he did, the Coach gave Locklear a ton of laps on the track for smoking and that did not go over well. That was Billy. God Bless his soul and I am glad to have been a friend.
