I was very sorry to hear of Ken's passing.  After almost 50 years one thing  was very evident, there was a bond between all the Cadets of CMA, but especially classmates.  We loose a piece of ourselves when one is no longer with us.

I hope that Ken's family knows how dearly we hold each other.  I hold the families in the same high regard.  Ken gave of himself to everyone, as was evidenced by his life.

Ken is in a better place.

Diane,

Carol and I were saddened to hear of Ken's passing.  We didn't know him from CMA, but truly enjoyed meeting and sharing stories with you all at the later reunions.  Memories and the love you share are strong healers in such times of sadness.  Please know our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

There are times when I read about someones passing that I did not know and think that I truely have missed knowing a wonderful individual. Due to different attendance years at CMA I did not know Ken, but after reading all the endearing comments, I am so sorry that our paths never crossed. I hope that your pain will soon be replaced by all the wonderful memories that you shared with Ken.

My condolences and prayers go out to Diane and to Ken's family. No words seem to be fitting at this time, other than asking God to be with you and help you make it through. So my prayers are for this and may he Bless you.

I remember when Ken came to Band Co. "he did not play an instrument" but that did not deter Ken and soon Lt Ferguson had him crashing symbols and ringing the triangle withe the best of them. Since I have reconected with Ken 2 years ago it seems that we just picked up where we left off. I know Ken was proud of The Air Force and CMA. As secretary of the Alumni Asso. I know first hand of his dedication to CMA Alumni Assoc, "He was always the first to register and send his check for events". We will all miss him and remember him as a true friend and fellow cadet.

Diane, Linda and I would like to express our deepest sympathy know that you have many friends at CMAAA. please keep in touch with the Association and visit with us as often as you can, you are always welcome.

Diane,

We were so very sorry to learn of Ken's death.  You and he were sorely missed at the last reunion and we talked about looking forward to seeing you both at the next one.

Please know what a true pleasure it was to have met you both and to have enjoyed Ken's many entertaining & humorous stories told with such charm and wit.  You and your family are in our hearts and prayers and we pray that God will wrap His loving arms around you and comfort you at this time.

Excert from an email from David Cobb (MMI) and Art Smith (MMI & CMA 63)

I was sorry to hear of the passing of one of your alumni. Ken's picture actually looked familar to me as I believe he may have been at the reunion that I attended with Art and Billy. I called Art last night to advise him. I am sure Ken was since I share the same birth year.
Regardless we wish to extend our sincere sympathy to Ken's family. Regardless how well we knew Ken, together we share a thread in history. We will be making a donation to be used by the Alumni. May God grant the family peace during these times. Art Smith and Dave Cobb

It was hard hearing about Kens passing. I can just see him at each reunion talking to about everyone. He had a great personality and turly loved CMA. He was missed very much at Myrtle Beach this year.  Our deepest sympathy goes out to Diane and the family.

For those who don't know, my Dad's 65th...

For those who don't know, my Dad's 65th birthday would have been on the 6th. It is a hard time for us (his family) because this was his favorite time of year. Keep us in your prayers. Help us honor his memory this holiday season by doing the things that he would have loved to do. Wear a goofy hat or tie, deck out your car with antlers and red nose, buy something for the less fortunate, take the time to send out cards to your friends and loved ones and let them know how much they mean to you. These are all things that my Dad loved to do this time of year. We miss him terribly and wish he could be around to spread holiday cheer this year. All we can do is remember what he showed us and carry on the torch. I believe that is what he would have wanted. I love you and I miss you Dad! Merry Christmas. And Merry Christmas to all of you who were his friends and coworkers.
